KNTV are a group of Volunteers, formed in 1981, who meet once a month on a Sunday to help outdoors at National Trust properties in Kent, arranged with wardens and head gardeners.
National Trust Properties
KNTV have helped at a variety of well-known National Trust properties including Chartwell, Emmetts, Smallhythe Place, Scotney Castle, Sissinghurst, Ightham Mote, St John's Jerusalem, Cobham woods and Owletts.
Tasks
These take place on the 2nd Sunday of each Month (with exceptions) starting at 10:30. Lifts can be arranged where possible. Just bring old clothes, sturdy boots, waterproofs, a packed lunch, a drink and some enthusiasm! Tools and water are provided and some gloves are available, although it may be better to bring your own.
What we do
Our tasks include fence building, scrub clearance, pollarding, coppicing, path building, cutting back, tree planting, pond clearance and gardening.

Membership
We charge a small annual membership fee. The fees are currently £5 Single, £9 Joint and £4 for concessions.
